Event Details

Hart Liberal Democrats are delighted to be joined by a very special guest, Peter Jones, former Director-General at the then Foreign and Commonwealth Office, for an evening of foreign affairs discussion with Alex Brewer MP.

Join us as we take a deep-dive into a range of fascinating foreign affairs themes.

What is left of the 'special relationship'? What's the Liberal Democrat view of the UK's role on the international stage? And what path should Britain take in an uncertain world?

Our guest, Peter Jones, has had a distinguished 30-year career within British foreign affairs, in which he held several senior positions at the then Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Peter will be reflecting on his experiences and giving his thoughts on the most pressing foreign affairs issues.

Tickets are just £20 for adults, and £5 for students.

This event will take place on Thursday 4th June from 7:30pm at The WI Hall, The Street, Crookham Village, GU51 5SJ. We hope you can join us!
