Event Details
Join us for an engaging and enjoyable evening at the Rochdale Masonic Hall for a special Liberal Democrat Dinner, featuring guest speaker Tim Farron MP.
Tim Farron was first elected as the Liberal Democrat MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale in 2005, ending 95 years of Conservative representation and establishing it as the party’s longest continuously held seat in England. Since then, he has built a reputation as a dedicated and hard-working constituency MP—securing chemotherapy services for Westmorland General Hospital, helping protect rural GP surgeries, and even organising a free heritage train service on the Lakes Line. He currently speaks for the Liberal Democrats on Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in the House of Commons, and recently did an excellent job explaining the Sewage Crisis: See Tim's explanation here!
Enjoy a warm welcome, great company, and an inspiring talk, alongside a delicious three-course meal.
Menu for the Evening:
- Tomato and red pepper soup served with a roll or Pate.
- Roast chicken (halal) with roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, and vegetables
or mushroom wellington (vegetarian option) - Sticky toffee pudding with custard or Fruit salad with ice cream.
- Tea or coffee
There will also be a raffle and other tickets available on the night, with both cash and card payments accepted.
