Join us for a special event marking the launch of Vince Cable’s new book, Eclipsing the West: China, India and the forging of a new world. Sir Vince will be talking about the book, taking questions and signing copies which will be available to purchase on the day.

Date and time- 6th December 2025, 11.45 to 2pm. Talk will commence at 12 noon, followed by a buffet lunch and book signing.

Location- Northampton & County Club, 9 George Row, Northampton NN1 1DF

Tickets- £25 including buffet, £20 concession for Young Liberals

Book cost is £20, available to purchase on the day

The venue is a short walk from the bus station, train station and town centre car parks.

What is the Handling Charge for?

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Liberal Democrats, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
