Outline rules for the event.

• The Chair has the responsibility to ensure the event is fair and balanced
• The Chair will direct the questions
• No recording of the hustings is allowed
• Any Chat facility will be disabled
• Participants will be muted unless invited to speak

Candidates will be invited to make short opening and closing remarks.

In addition, candidates are invited to answer questions posed through the Chair

• Opening questions from members are to be submitted in advance with registration and will be grouped by themes or subjects. These opening questions must be directed and answerable by all candidates. 
• Supplementary questions may be invited by theme or subject at the Chair’s discretion. 
• Follow-up questions which must be aimed at elucidating what a candidate has said regarding an opening question.  Follow-up questions do not have to be directed or answerable by all candidates but pertinent to the topic.
• Each candidate must be given the same amount of time to answer those questions.
• Candidates will be given reasonable opportunity to briefly respond to points made against them.
