September is Party Conference Time!

Everything you wanted to know about the Party Conference but were too afraid to ask!

Hear from Harriet Sherlock, SALD Party Chair, and other regular attendees about the Party Conference and why they attend
Meet others who will be attending this year’s Conference in Bournemouth, as well as those who are thinking about going along
Understand how you can play a part in the Conference and how you can make a difference

You are most welcome to bring your Lib Dem-voting friends and family if they are interested in learning more about what it means to be a St Albans Liberal Democrat.

About the venue

We will be in The Snug area of the King Harry. The venue is dog-friendly. There are a few steps up to The Snug, and the room is also accessible from the back for anyone who needs a flat route in.

Please register your vehicle number plate at the console on the bar. The car park is run by a third-party supplier. We don't want anyone receiving a parking fine!

About Pint & Politics

Pint & Politics is a monthly social event where Members and Supporters can come together and discuss Lib Dem Manifesto policies and how they relate to us in St Albans. We ask experts in the team to join us.

The event starts with an update from the experts, and questions can be answered. You can sit, stand, or whatever helps you to mingle and get to know other Members and Supporters.

It's the first time that we are running an event that helps to explain what the Party Conference is, and we hope for many people to join us.

We all buy our own drinks for these events.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Liberal Democrats generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Liberal Democrats, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
