Event Details

You are invited to join West Berkshire East Branch Liberal Democrats for their annual quiz on Saturday 4th October 2025 at 7 pm. Spend an enjoyable evening answering questions on a wide variety of topics, while also contributing to funds to support future campaigning. Once again, Jeff Brooks will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.

The venue is the Memorial Hall in Thatcham (Brownsfield Road, Thatcham RG18 3AG). Parking is available adjacent to the hall.

The cost is £20 per head (to include food). If you wish to attend but bring your own food, there is a reduced price of £12.

Please bring your own drinks, glasses and nibbles. Raffle prize donations would also be welcomed.

Meals will be delivered halfway through the quiz. Please make your choices and advise your food requirements to Chris Marriage at chris.marriage@btinternet.com so that orders can be placed in advance – the options are below.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Liberal Democrats generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Liberal Democrats, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
