Event Details
Come and join us at our summer party to celebrate the anniversary of electing Wokingham's first ever Liberal Democrat MP and our fourth year of leading Wokingham Borough Council.
Attendance is free, with an option to donate towards our local campaign fund.
Our generous hosts again are Simon Curtis and his wife, Ruth Talbot at their home at The Grange, The Street, Waltham St Lawrence, Berkshire, RG10 0JN. There will be plenty of parking along The Street - which runs from The Grange all the way up to the War Memorial. Parking will also available around the village square and at Neville Hall, which is opposite The Bell pub.
The party will start at 4pm, with drinks and light eats available early evening. This is intended to be a family occasion, so please feel free to bring your children. Swimming in the outdoor pond, tennis on the court and croquet on the lawn will all be available. (Please note that the swimming pond is unfenced and parents must please keep their small children closely supervised near it).
We plan to wind up about 9pm – but The Bell next door will be open all evening until 11pm.
This is a great chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones, and hopefully soak up the sunshine and play some summer games. If you have any queries, please email thomas.finch@wokinghamlibdems.org.uk.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
