Haringey First-Timers Special Training & Info Session

We are delighted to be holding a Special Training and Information Day for all first-timers, and novices with Party President and Member of the House of Lords - Dr Mark Pack.

In the morning we will hear from Mark, and former Kingston Councillor, Sam Foulder-Hughes, about the absolute basics of getting involved with the Lib Dems, doorstep canvassing, having conversations with residents/voters, how to canvass, the technology we use, and lots more.

Following a break for lunch (included), we will then practise what we have learned and head out for group canvassing in the afternoon, led in small teams/pairs by experienced canvassers and campaigners.

This is a great opportunity for those that have never been involved in campaigning before, or still feel like they are learning the ropes to come and learn from some of the party's leading campaigning experts on the how's and why's of what we do.

This session would be particularly useful for anyone that is interested in being a council candidate in the 2026 local elections, or helping to support the team get elected.

And of course more experienced campaigners are encouraged to join too so they can learn more about best practise.
