Islington Liberal Democrats are delighted to announce that the guest speaker at our Annual General Meeting will be Roz Savage, MP, MBE.

Roz Savage was elected as a Liberal Democrat MP for the South Cotswolds in July 2024.  She is the first (and so far the only) woman to row solo across each of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. Roz’s book, “The Ocean in a Drop: Navigating from Crisis to Consciousness”, follows her quest as a frustrated environmentalist and ocean adventurer, to find out why her own endeavours and the environmental movement more generally have failed to achieve change at the necessary scope, scale and speed.  You can find out more about Roz here: www.rozsavage.com
