We are pleased to announce that our International Women’s Day event is back for 2024!

Join us at The Barn @ The Horn on 7 March at 7pm to hear from inspirational and influential St Albans women who will be sharing their stories and telling us their hopes for the future.

The event will be hosted by Daisy Cooper MP, and we will be joined by:

Rev'd Dr Mariama Ifode-Blease - Head of Education at the Salters' Company and Institute, Dr Ifode-Blease's work has included a focus on making chemistry and the related sciences accessible to all
Bharti Lim - Speaker at St Albans first TedX, finalist for the CRN Women in Channel Awards 2021, Bharti Lim is a Cyber security strategy manager who is passionate about bringing more women into Tech roles
Victoria Collins - Parliamentary candidate for Harpenden and Berkhamsted, finalist for Great British Entrepreneur of the Year, experienced sustainability consultant, and tireless campaigner.

This event is hosted by the St Albans Liberal Democrats and is open to everybody.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Liberal Democrats generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Liberal Democrats, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
