A SPANISH NIGHT – but it’s not Don Quixote and there’s won’t be a windmill in sight!

El Rincon, Tattenham Corner Thursday 21st March 2024
TIME: 7.00pm for 7.30pm

GUEST SPEAKER - EDWARD LUCAS. He is a senior vice-president at the Centre for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and writes a weekly column in the LondonTimes.

On Thursday 21st March we’re taking over the entire El Rincon restaurant at Tattenham Corner for a casual supper evening intended to combine relaxed socialising with a bit of low-key fundraising. We have a distinguished author and broadcaster as guest speaker and the restaurant is offering us a fantastic menu.

The European theme will be reinforced by our guest speaker, Edward Lucas. He is a senior vice-president at the Centre for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and writes a weekly column in the LondonTimes.

Formerly a senior editor at The EconomistEdward Lucas brings a wealth of experience and a sharp and insightful take on the key issues affecting international security today.  His expertise also includes energy, cyber-security, espionage, information warfare and Russian foreign and security policy. In 2008 he wrote theThe New Cold War, a prescient account of Vladimir Putin’s Russia

He lives in London and in 2021 was adopted as the Lib Dem’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Cities of London and Westminster.
