High streets are thought of primarily as places to shop. But they can be so much more than that. Usually steeped in history, they can be important sources of meaning for people - defining the places where they live and offering precious space to gather and bump along together across social difference.

We’ll talk about how to restore high streets to their proper place in our collective life.
