Sarah Olney in Conversation with Zoe Franklin and Helen Maguire - Inspiring our next generation of female leaders

We are absolutely delighted that Sarah Olney, Liberal Democrat MP for Richmond Park since 2019 and spokesperson for the Treasury and Business, will leading our ‘Inspiring our next generation of female leaders’ event in Leatherhead. Sarah will share her experiences as an MP and will be in conversation with Zoe Franklin, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for one of our target seats; Guildford along with our very own PPC Helen Maguire on why they want to become MPs in in such turbulent times!

Becoming an MP is not for the faint hearted but if we want female values to be translated into policy then we need more female leaders, so how can we achieve this when men still outnumber women by 2:1 on most elected bodies. As Frances Scott, founder of https://5050parliament.co.uk/ said:
