Bad Laws: How Lib Dem peers are fighting back

An evening with Sarah Ludford

Baroness Sarah Ludford is a leading member of the 83-strong Lib Dem team in the House of Lords, fighting to protect democracy, freedom and Britain’s place in the world from the Conservatives’ attempts to ram bad laws through Parliament.

Sarah and our parliamentary candidate Edward Lucas first met in 1980. Sarah, a qualified barrister, is a former councillor and MEP with deep expertise in human rights and foreign policy.  She and her colleagues are trying to save our freedom to protest, uphold civic rights, protect vital safeguards threatened by the “bonfire” of EU laws, demand justice for the Windrush victims, maintain the right to asylum in this country — and much more.

Please join other members and supporters for insights (and some laughs) about the great work done by our Lib Dem colleagues in the “upper house”.
