What is 3SG and what do they do?

Come and join us to find out about 3SG (B&NES 3rd Sector Group), a membership network of over 200 charities, social enterprises and community groups in B&NES.

During the Covid pandemic, the 3SG team coordinated thousands of volunteers to deliver essentials such as food and medicines, and to steward vaccination centres. Over 300,000 vaccinations were administered, 5,000 tasks completed and over £109,600 worth of shopping delivered.

For anyone keen to volunteer, it gives access to many opportunities such as day centre & walking group support, assisting with finances and project management, providing reading coaching and driving. There is something to suit every interest, skill and experience.

So please join us at 7pm on 26th January to discover how any charitable organisations you’re involved with could benefit from membership, the opportunities available as a volunteer or just to learn about the supportive work going on in our local community.
