YL International Committee Hustings

As part of the Young Liberals Internal Elections, we will be holding hustings for key roles, which give our membership the chance to ask candidates about their manifestos, thoughts on key positions and ideas for the role.

This hustings is for the candidates for the three positions on the International Congress Delegates Committee; Christopher Johnson, Aurthur Wu, Sean Bennett, Eleanor Kelly, Ulysse Abbate, Katharine Macy, Kai Pischke & Adam Lawless - you can find their manifestos at: https://www.youngliberals.uk/your_candidates

The format of the hustings will be as follows;

• Introduction of the candidates by the Chair and explanation of format
• Each candidate will be allowed to make a 1 minute 30 seconds introductory statement
• Questions will then be taken from the audience, and each candidate will be given the opportunity to answer each question. The first candidate given the opportunity to answer each question will revolve so it is fair. 
• Each candidate will be allowed to make a 1 minute 30 seconds closing statement.

While attendees will be able to ask questions at the event, for the ease of the chair, could you please email your questions to elections@youngliberals.uk using the name of the hustings in the subject line. Please include your name as Chairs will not be accepting anonymous questions.
